We use an advanced steel alloy for our backing plates. They’re stronger than chromoly and at 5/16 inches thick, they’ll stand up to anything and everything the trail throws at you. We’ve also spent years tweaking and honing our portal housings to make them as strong as possible. With tens of thousands of housings in the wild proving their strength every weekend, you know you’re getting the best. So go with cast or super-sleek, USA-made billet aluminum—either way, you’re getting the best.

Advanced Gaskets, Seals, and Bearings
Our portals use:
- Advanced gaskets and O-rings with excellent oil resistance and low deterioration rates
- A sealed input gear and double-lipped output seal
- 100% sealing coverage throughout so you can forget about oil leaks
- Double-angular contact output bearings to prevent premature wear
- Roller idler and drive bearings to maintain perfect gear meshing
