Telling a Factory-Fit Maverick R Roof From a Universal Panel
The first tell is a part number. Both Kemimoto roofs are sold as direct replacements for Can-Am roof parts, with the hardware in the box. Anything sold as a universal fit deserves a fitment check against the R's cage before you order. The second tell is what sits between roof and frame. Kemimoto pads its aluminum roof with rubber to cut noise and heat. Kolpin's liner cushions a metal panel where it meets the frame. SuperATV holds its mesh top down with bungee tie-downs and locking cord stops so it doesn't flap on the trail.

Yes. Can-Am builds a full roof into the R X, and Kemimoto lists the R X, R X RS and R X RS with Smart-Shox in its fitment. On an R X, the reasons to shop here are replacing a damaged top, moving to aluminum or two-piece HDPE, or adding the fan or liner. The HDPE top directly replaces Can-Am parts 705015973 and 705015974, and the aluminum top replaces 715007364.
Will these roofs fit a Maverick R MAX?
The Kemimoto roofs won't. Both list two-seat fitment only, and the R MAX cage is longer. The mesh top's listing doesn't name the MAX either, so text us your model year before ordering it.
