Do you often find yourself in muddy terrain with your stock radiator getting clogged? Have you investigated two- or three-row radiators to avoid blockage and overheating; or an ECM refresh so that your fan kicks on around five bars? Whatever you need, be it a Can-am Maverick radiator replacement, a radiator relocation kit, or some spare parts and radiator components, here at Everything Can-Am Offroad, we’ve got all the radiator-related aftermarket accessories to keep your Side by Side nice and cool. Throw a TCP mudder edition radiator on your UTV with a t-stat delete kit and you’ll never have an overheating problem again. Romping through some thick clay at high noon in the summer? No problem. Your fan should still kick in about four going to five bars, but your engine will stay as cold as the rockies — even if you’re in that Florida or Tennessee heat. And by deleting the t-stat you’ll ensure that not all the water goes to the radiator.
Another option for overheating Side by Sides is the Wild Boar top mount radiator kit. True some people think it’s kinda ugly, but it gets the job done. The only caveat is that you may loose some forward visibility -- especially in the center. However, you can look through the mounting legs if you absolutely have to see right in front of you. And if you keep a little distance from the person ahead of you you’ll be able to pre-plan your line up a hill or through a trail. The UTV company CYA also makes a good Can-am Maverick radiator relocation kit, and so does Rubber Down Customs out of Niagara Falls. If you’re handy, you might be able to move the factory radiator / radiator fan and mount it behind the driver’s side seat or in the middle. Play in the mud a lot and it’s hard work trying to keep your Maverick cool. Don’t let your trip get ruined because your engine keeps overheating and do something about it. Relocate your Maverick’s radiator and you’ll not only keep it clean, but also protected from flying mud, rocks and branches. Alternatively, you can upgrade to a better, aftermarket radiator for your Can-am Maverick. It is also wise to bring a rag and/or small water pump along when you ride so you can clean your Maverick’s radiator periodically as you ride. And if you get a Can-am Maverick radiator that pops out for easy cleaning, your life on the trail will be much easier. But whatever you need to keep your UTV’s engine cool, from radiator fans and radiator relocation kits to completely new Can-Am radiators, we’ve got it here at Everything Can-Am Offroad!
