Smell that exhaust! Actually don’t. But still, you do want to be certain that your exhaust system is operating the way it is supposed to. Whether you realize it or not, your UTV exhaust performance affects the performance of your Side x Side. If it is not working properly it can definitely cause issues with overheating and that is never a good thing. Overheating can cause engines to fail and burn up completely. One way to prevent that, other than maintaining your engine fluids is to make sure you have a fully functioning exhaust.

What does that entail you might ask? Well, making sure you have the proper UTV exhaust clamps, exhaust gaskets, exhaust adapters, mufflers, and silencers. When installing any type of UTV exhaust on your Side x Side, it is important to make sure that your UTV exhaust clamps and flanges and gaskets are all new. You don’t want to have any problems with your new exhaust system due to reusing worn out parts. You need a tight seal between exhaust pipes and can only get that by using new parts. It isn’t worth the risk to reuse your old ones.

Want to make change the overall sound of your exhaust? Maybe you want it louder? Maybe you want it quieter? Either way, you will want to check out a UTV exhaust silencer or a UTV exhaust muffler, depending on the volume you are looking for.

Here at Everything Can-Am Offroad you don’t have to worry about finding the right exhaust replacement part for your Can-Am Defender. We have done all the research and vetting to make sure you get only the best for your Side x Side. And if you have any questions or need direction on the correct part for your Side x Side, give us a call and we would be happy to help answer your questions.
