Helmet Kits

So you’ve got your HJC UTV helmet for summer activities, your 509 Altitude helmet and corresponding goggles for winter riding, but what do you do to communicate with your helmet on inside your Can-Am Maverick? Depending on what you are doing and how you use your Maverick, you may or may not wear a helmet. For slow trail rides, a helmet may not be absolutely necessary. But if you are going on an aggressive trail ride or riding in a field, most Can-Am riders would agree that helmets are lifesavers. But one main caveat to wearing side-by-side helmets is that they make communication difficult. With a helmet headset, however, it no longer has to be. Using an in-helmet communication kit with speakers and a microphone, it will feel like you’re talking on your living room couch. Sena in-helmet comm kits are popular among UTV riders, but companies like Rugged Radios and others make awesome helmet communication equipment for in-car intercoms, car-to-car links, and bluetooth connectivity to your phone or MP3 player. Play a little music through your hemet audio kit, then hit your PTT button to tell your crew that you’re pulling over for a quick pit stop. You can use them to stay both safe and connected when riding for fun, or use them for racing applications. Whatever you’re looking for in an in-helmet audio and communications kit, to use in your Maverick you’re sure to find it right here at Everything Can-Am Offroad.

Many side-by-side owners transition to the Can-Am Maverick from other extreme sports. As such, they’re likely to already have a perfectly fine DOT and / or Snell approved helmet. If you fall into this camp and are looking to retrofit your Klim F4, O’Neal, or Fly Racing Carbon helmet with an audio kit, we’ve got you covered. Some helmet communication kits attach to the outside of the helmets, while others slide comfortably inside the existing helmet construction. Most use either adhesion or velcro to mount onto the helmet for either a permanent or removable fixture. Whatever the case may be, long-time Can-Am riders shop Everything Can-Am Offroad for the best UTV helmet headsets, bluetooth headsets, and wireless helmet headphone communication systems for their Can-Am Mavericks.
